HR Assessment – Using a state-of-the-art web based tool we work in collaboration with our clients to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of current HR compliance and employment related practices, processes and procedures. The outcome of the assessment is a report highlighting areas in which the client is doing well and a prioritized list of recommended action items. Examples of project-based deliverables include:

• Developed a consistent process, procedure and related forms for handling Family Medical Leaves of Absence
• Developed job descriptions for all employees
• Established OSHA reporting processes and procedures
• Conducted management and employee harassment training
• Reviewed classifications of employment and overtime practices under the Fair Labor Standards Act

Employee Handbook – Development of a current, legally compliant Employee Handbook. A customized manual designed to communicate the unique practices and programs of the organization.

Retainer Based Services – Many clients cannot justify a full-time HR employee, however the need for practical advice and guidance on HR and employment law related issues exists in all companies. We have found that many clients require support ranging from 4 – 40 hours per month. Summit Advisory Group provides flexible retainer based options.

HR Hotline – Just in time response to HR questions and compliance related issues. Our HR Hotline service is unique in the following ways:

• Calls are handled by a seasoned HR professional
• Individualized person-to-person service – not a call center
• Based on client specific culture and need
